Daily Tasks
Huxera has five separate task systems running at once — four task NPCs in Thais Depot Basement, each on its own daily cycle, plus an always-available task board you open from anywhere. Together they're the most reliable daily income on the server.
| NPC | Level | Task type | Cooldown after finishing | Cooldown after cancelling |
| [Task] Slayer | 60 | Kill a number of monsters | 20 hours | 2 hours |
| [Task] Shaman | 60 | Collect items | 20 hours | 4 hours |
| [Task] Champion | 60 | Challenges and activities | 20 hours | 6 hours |
| [Task] Death | 100 | Deliver player frags | No cooldown | — |
Every NPC pays in its own task credits, spendable only in that NPC's own shop. Each also lets you pick a length — short, normal or long — with longer tasks paying proportionally more.
The straightforward one: go kill things. Choose a difficulty — easy, medium, hard or custom — and a length, and the Slayer sets you a kill count.
- Rewards: gold, experience and task credits. Harder difficulties pay bonus credits on top.
- Party sharing is enabled, so kills made while hunting with a party still count toward your task.
- The shop is the biggest of the four — high-end equipment such as royal scale robes, elite draken helmets, magic plate armor, golden legs and boots of haste, along with decorations, hangables and experience boosts of up to 50% for one to three hours.
Collection tasks — gather a set quantity of a particular item and bring it back.
- Rewards: task credits plus an experience or skill booster. Longer tasks give longer, stronger boosters.
- The booster is the real draw here — stacking a Shaman booster with a daily event or a world event bonus is how big experience days happen.
The odd one out, and the most interesting. Instead of killing or collecting, the Champion sets you activities from across the whole server. Recent examples include:
| Challenge | Challenge |
| Loot a magical item | Win a round of dice several times in a row |
| Beat the dealer at the casino | Hit 21 in blackjack |
| Win on a scratch card | Spin the Wheel of Fortune |
| Buy something from the Greedy Goblin | Craft or salvage a magical item |
| Sell items to a set gold value | Start an event |
| Win an event | Join an event |
| Play a round of Bomberman | Kill a boss |
Rewards: task credits, coins, and a chance at monster eggs — which is what makes the Champion worth doing every single day. See Monster Eggs for what those are worth.
The PvP task. Deliver unjustified kills for rewards, up to 66 frags per delivery, within a window of 6 days, 6 hours and 6 minutes.
| Every 5 frags delivered | Reward |
| Task credits | 1 credit |
| Crystal coins | 10 crystal coins |
Fill the task completely and you also receive a frag remover — the only reliable way to clear an unjustified kill from your record.
Separate from the NPCs, the task board is always available. Type !tasks while standing in a protection zone to open it.
- Hold up to three tasks at once, chosen from the creatures you want to hunt anyway.
- Pick your own kill count, anywhere from 100 to 800 kills. Bigger commitments pay better.
- Rewards include rank points, experience, gold and items.
- Bonuses scale as you go — every 250 kills on a creature increases the points, experience and gold it pays.
Rank points accumulate across everything you complete and earn you hunter ranks:
| Rank | Points required |
| Huntsman | 5 |
| Ranger | 15 |
| Big Game Hunter | 30 |
| Trophy Hunter | 45 |
| Pro Hunter | 60 |
| Elite Hunter | 75 |
- Do them on Tuesday. Tasker Tuesday cuts every task NPC's repeat timer in half, so you can run twice as many.
- Take your task before you hunt, not after. Kills only count once the task is active.
- Line up your Shaman booster with a long hunt or an experience world event rather than burning it immediately.
- Stack the task board with the NPCs — task board kills happen while you're completing a Slayer task anyway, so both progress at once.
- Check !daily when you log in so nothing sits idle on a finished cooldown.
