The Huxera Client
Huxera runs on a customized Tibia 8.60 client that we maintain ourselves. It is required to play — it carries all of our custom sprites, outfits, mounts and effects, and it keeps itself up to date so you never have to reinstall.
A standard Tibia client simply doesn't know about our content. Every custom outfit, mount, item and effect we add lives in the client's sprite files, so a stock client would either show the wrong graphics or fail outright.
Because of this, the server only accepts our client. If you try to connect with a normal Tibia client you will be disconnected with the message:
Please download at www.huxera.net
That isn't an error on your side — it just means you launched the wrong executable. Download ours from the Downloads page and use that instead.

Every time you launch the client it contacts our update server, compares your files against the current version, and downloads anything that changed. When we add new sprites or content, you receive them the next time you start the client — no manual downloads, no reinstalling.
This also means the client needs internet access to huxera.net every time it starts. If it can't reach us, it will keep retrying instead of continuing to the login screen.
You never need to enter these manually, but they're useful if you're configuring a firewall or router:

- Check that you have a working internet connection and that huxera.net loads in your browser.
- Allow the client through Windows Firewall. On the first launch Windows often shows a prompt — if you dismissed it, add Tibia.exe manually under Windows Security → Firewall & network protection → Allow an app through firewall.
- Add the client's folder as an exclusion in your antivirus. Some antivirus products silently block the updater because it modifies files in its own folder.
- If you're on a company, school or public network, outgoing connections may be blocked. Try a different network or a mobile hotspot to confirm.
